When it comes to playing Minecraft among friends there are a whole bunch of public servers to choose from.

We've listed our favourite servers for the Java version of Minecraft for you to take a look at.

Origin Realms

Origin Realms is a Minecraft Java Edition server that aims to enhance and expand upon vanilla gameplay. Our goal is to take what people love about Minecraft survival and give it new life with custom blocks, new biomes, detailed characters, dungeons and much more!

Penguin.gg

IP: play.penguin.gg
Penguin.gg is the server owned by the prolific Minecraft Youtuber, SB737!
It's a fairly a new Minecraft server network launched in 2022. Join SB737 as he plays and records with his community. The server currently offers an amazing Skyblock game mode and Survival SMP mode too!

Hypixel

IP: mc.hypixel.net
Hypixel is a mini-game heavy server. There are all the normal games you would expect from a high-quality server, but there are also a few noteworthy ones as well. Games like VampireZ, where you have to try and survive as a human while the vampires hunt you. There’s even a game called Turbo Kart Racers, which is a surprisingly good racing game that will pit you against other players as you try and reach the finish line first. It’s a lot of fun, and they update it regularly, so it’s worth sticking around for.

Herobrine

Who doesn't want to play on a Minecraft server named after the game's most popular creepypasta mystery? Herobrine.org has a bunch of different games including survival, skyblock, factions, and more. It also has an Earth, a geopolitical game mode so make sure to check that out. When you're done, why not check out the infamous Herobrine world seed that was found back in 2021?

Minewind

Looking for a server that lets you do pretty much whatever you want? Minewind is an anything goes (except cheating) free-for-all of PvP chaos. Trying to survive for any length of time in this world is a real challenge, but it’s an enjoyable challenge. There are classes to pick between, regular events, block-claiming for all your building pleasures, and a wilderness to explore and risk it all in—as long as you like living on the edge.

Wow! What a feature packed update we've got coming!

It seems like Mojang Studios are going all out in the latest update to the awesome block rocking game. We've listed some of our favourite new features below.

1. Wolf Variants: Prepare to encounter nine different wolf variants, each with its own unique characteristics. From the Rusty Wolf to the Chestnut Wolf, collecting them all will be quite the challenge! 🐺
2. Wolf Armor: Yes, you read that right! Wolves will now have their own set of stylish armor. Dress up your loyal companions and keep them protected during your adventures. 🛡️
3. Armadillo Mob: A new creature is making its way into the game. The Armadillo brings a fresh twist to the Minecraft ecosystem. 🦔
4. Automated Crafting with the Crafter: Redstone engineers, rejoice! The Crafter introduces automated crafting, making your resource management a breeze. ⚙️
5. Trial Chambers: Descend into the depths of the earth and explore the mysterious Trial Chambers. These underground structures are filled with puzzles and combat challenges. Beware, they can get pretty chaotic! 🔍
6. Trial Spawners: Alongside the Trial Chambers, you’ll encounter Trial Spawners that unleash mobs upon you. Brace yourself for intense battles! ⚔️
7. Vaults: Discover hidden secrets within the Vaults. These structures promise adventure and valuable loot. 🗝️
8. Copper Block Variants: Get creative with various copper block variants. Whether you’re building or tinkering, these blocks add versatility to your designs. 🟤
